Advance Housing's programs are geared toward helping people with disabilities live independently in the community. Here is a brief description of each of the agency's current programs:

The Homeless Service Team (HoST): This program uses a holistic approach to help homeless adults with psychiatric disabilities achieve a better quality of life. The HoST team uses the Housing First model to move people from the streets and shelters to the safety of their own homes. The staff are accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Supportive Living Program: This program is geared toward people who are transitioning from group homes or lengthy hospitalizations and have achieved a relative level of independent living skills. A limited supply of scatter-site, agency-owned housing is available for this program.

Advance Consumer Choice and Empowerment Program (ACCEP): This program is an option to group home placement for people ready for discharge from Greystone Park Psychiatric hospital who are choosing to live in more independent situations. Services are provided by a residential intensive support team capable of meeting the consumers' needs in the community 24 hours a day.

Special Case Management: This program provides case management services to individuals on a fee for service basis who are not typically eligible for the agency's other programs. Services can include case management, consulting, and managing Special Needs Trusts.
