A Letter from the President
Dear Friends,
Welcome to the first issue of Advance Housing News which we are proud to introduce. This newsletter is something we have wanted to do for some time and now another goal has become a reality.
This is a most auspicious time for Advance Housing, Inc. as we have just celebrated our 10th Anniversary. These last 10 years have been most significant for the organization. What began as a possibility has become a reality. I am proud that we have made an impact on the lives of over 125 individuals who today live in permanent housing, and that several permanent housing projects currently in the planning stages will grow that number even larger. However, we still have a long way to go.
We have much to be thankful for at this joyous time of the year. Unfortunately, it is the most vulnerable time for many of our consumers who have to brave the elements, some without a home to call their own. This is where Advance Housing can make a worthwhile difference and we are honored to undertake this mandate.
In this first issue we are proud to honor Nancy and Marty Willick. It was Nancy’s vision that created Advance Housing and all of us at Advance Housing thank Nancy for her continued support and commitment. I would also like to thank our sponsors, without whom we couldn't have reached the number of consumers we work with today.
I trust that you will enjoy this first issue.
